These breeding regulations are basis and guidance for an optimal, appropriate and correct breeding of the Schnauzer (miniature and toy) following the VDH/PSK-Standards. The FIPSC e.V. declares as its objectives to breed the Miniature (and Toy) Schnauzer in its common and already approved colours as well as the so-called Parti Schnauzer, which once has already been registered as Parti Schnauzer from 1929 until 1933 in the PSK studbook.
Main rule is to breed in compliance with the Protection of Animals Act. The breeding regulations are binding for all members and breeders.
What means correct breeding? Motivation of breeding must be to maintain and improve the breed type and typical temperament of the miniature schnauzer, to recognize faults and to take countermeasures by careful choice of the parent dogs and well-directed mating. Breeders are persons having a registered kennel, a stud dog and/or a bitch. The breeders are fully responsible for the results. The FIPSC e.V. expects from its breeders to plan and carry out breeding to the best of their knowledge and in all conscience.
